It's rare for many people to have balance of style, knowhow, and passion that pushes him to chase his goals without end. Here’s our certified gooner, Jeff. Cars and motorsports have long since been an obsession of his childhood. Going to see Formula Drift and Monster Jam sparked his interest early on. Games like Need for Speed and Midnight Club were also household titles for future car enthusiasts like Jeff. No doubt, the vehicle customization aspect cultivated his desires to “do it for real’.Now he’s known for his expertise in automotive vinyl wrap installations and aftermarket parts installs. A quiet fellow he is, but having a loud style has always been the name of his game.

The real OG’s remember him with the FA1 8th gen civic sedan that was factory 5MT. Like with anyone’s first car, thats where his foundation was built on. From his first car wrap, to the jarring task of learning cutting the fenders. It all started on that platform. It was lowered on coilovers, 18-inch ESR SR04’s with chrome lips and white face. Widened with fender flares for an aggressive stance. If he decided to keep it, the intentions were to K-swap it (of course) and do a full FD2 front-end conversion. But alas, his decision to migrate platforms proved to be even crazier.

This is what Jeff was known for. His R32 Skyline GTS-T coupe. Originally red with white RPF1’s, then matte gray with Work VS-MX wheels, he’s gone through a few iterations to create exactly how he envisions his build. This new platform was a whole new ballgame and can be finicky since it was an old Nissan. Sometimes we were surprised it even showed up to group dinners. From overheating RB20 to not having a reverse gear at one point. Don’t even get us started on his 20 point turns. One time my guy had to drive around the block because it could only go forward LMAO. Nonetheless, how he built it was a direct reflection of his passion down to the details. First off, he fit a Pandem widebody kit meant for a GTR on it. Lots of cutting and remoulding. He even threw a BBQ when he cut his fenders. I remember his bumper was an OEM GTR bumper and was surprisingly inexpensive directly from Nissan. He taught himself to rebuild his Work wheels with some insanely wide polished lips from sealing the silicone to torquing each piece of hardware to spec. Oval exhaust tips, Bride Japan Zeta 3 seats, ducktail spoiler, vented carbon hood and much more. Finished with a Black wrap. No its actually midnight blue, he’ll make sure you’ll know that its not black.

Eventually it was the Skyline’s time and move onto something more driveable and reliable. Now he has a ZN6 Scion FRS. Originally red, he knew exactly what direction to take. Jeff has always wanted to do an itasha livery and this was his chance. Full itasha lovery on a gunmetal wrap as a base. Rocket bunny V1 widebody, FiveAxis front lip, TRD side skirts, Seibon carbon hood with scoop and APR wing. Lowered on BC coilovers and Work T5R 2P wheels. He was also able to transfer his Bride Japan seats from his skyline as well. Lots of things he wants to do with the versatility of this platform but if course, life and time limits how much we can do.

Great solid dude who has been with us since the early days of Kimoji. If you see him at a show or car meet, be sure to ask him to show you how beefy his front strut bar is!
